About Janet M. Kincaid

Janet M. Kincaid is a seasoned publications/project manager, technical editor, and communications trainer/facilitator with more than 20 years of experience managing, producing, and delivering value-added products and services in public and private industries in multinational and international settings. She has worked for Miller Freeman Inc., the American Forest and Paper Association, the National Recycling Coalition, AstraZeneca, and the World Health Organization.

She is also a freelance photographer and writer with experience in human interest writing, travel and tourism writing and photography, group events, sporting events, and family and professional portraiture.

Janet's work and academic experiences have been, in a word, eclectic. She has a master's degree in Religion and Society from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, Calfornia, and a bachelor's degree in Foreign Language and Literature from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.

Her professional experience has included: writing, editing, and managing the publication of products for the paper and forest products industry; collaborating on national recycling advocacy and fundraising campaigns; and editing public health guidelines and information for emergency response operations. At the moment, she is communications trainer/facilitator providing communications training to executive leaders, partner organizations, and country-level communications officers for the World Health Organization.

She is fluent in English and German, conversant in French, and is learning Italian.

Janet is based near Geneva, Switzerland, where she lives with her partner, Maya, and their dog, Charlie.
