100 Unnamed Strangers: Father and Son

Father and Son : Rue Moufftard : Paris, FR

I meant to post this picture a couple of weeks ago. These two gentleman--obviously a father and son*--were watching the dancers and singers on the Rue Mouffetard. I snapped their photo, but didn't get their names. They have my card and I'm hoping, if they see their photo here, they'll leave their names and hometowns behind.

* I'd bet my right arm on two things: 1) they're Americans and 2) they're from New England.

I'd bet Danish. Americans generally don't wear blazer plus scarf like the son is doing.

And it's Mouffetard. :)

PS I won't be coming back for more comments because white-on-black blogs are a migraine trigger for me. :(

HOW DID I MISS THOSE TWO??

JA: Sorry to hear my blog is a trigger for migraines. Not fun. My guess is, the young man is an American expat working over here. I've noticed a lot of Americans adopt the French scarf thing after a while. (Including this American. You finally realize how much sense it makes and how much warmer you stay by wearing when it's cold, or even chilly. Note my friend Virginia's profile pic below. She's from Alabama: she's a Francophile extraordinaire and has a collection of scarves from Paris that would astound most Parisians!)

VJ: You were busy photographing the 93-year old lady! Hey, how many scarves do you now own?

They are both so handsome! I hope they see this.

V: I missed them too!

Well darn I would have been really wrong and guessed neither for Americans.
