Panning

 Bicyclist : Ferney-Voltaire, FR

As mentioned a couple of weeks ago, Maya and I are taking a photography class one evening a week in Nyon, Switzerland. This week's assignments were: becoming familiar with panning technique and using aperture priority (A) and shutter speed priority (S) settings. Today's photos are from the panning exercise. I'll be working on the aperture and shutter speed exercises later this week. The quality of these photos isn't that exciting, because the weather was crap, but I think I figured out how to pan all right. I just need more practice.

Are you panning with a tripod? The bottom one is great, and cropable.

Maya: Thanks! I like that one, too.

Larry: Nope. All hand held. I'll email you instructions, if you'd like.
