Bottom of the Barrel

On a Theme of Moss : Along the Banks of the Valserine River :

I've run out of photos, so I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel, so to speak! Guess it's time to take a trip somewhere and shoot some new stuff. Stayed tune for pictures from Marseille in the South of France... In the meantime, here's a photo of some wet, mossy logs along the Valserine River in Bellegarde.

White Water

Valserine River : Bellegarde-sur-Valserine, FR

In addition to all the regular Saturday errands, the day included a trip out to Bellegarde-sur-Valserine to visit a dog shelter out there in hopes of finding a dog in need of a good home. No success there, but then friend Kim took us to a lovely hiking trail along the Valserine River, which feeds into the Rhone River on its southward journey to the Mediterranean Sea. These are just a couple of photos of some of the white water along the river.
