Contrails over Geneva : Transportation = Air Transport
This month's theme on City Daily Photo is Transporation. I wanted to post a picture of the bus that runs through my town and that served as the impetus for the name of this blog, but I didn't leave the house on Sunday, ergo I have no pictures of the F Bus, so no go. Instead, I give you this photo of contrails taken in the skies over Geneva the other day.
Here are a few facts and statistics on air travel, in case you're interested:
Busiest Airport in the World (Passengers): Hartfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), Altanta, GA, USA
Busiest Airport in the World (Cargo): Memphis International Airport (MEM), Memphis, TN, USA
Largest Number of International-Bound Passengers: London Heathrow International Airport (LHR), London, UK
Most International Destinations Served: Frankfurt International Airport (FRA), Frankfurt, Germany

now that's something, sometimes we forgot how it looks up there.
perfect sky shot btw.
This is a brilliant way of showing today's Theme. Love it. Superb shot.
This image is very much like the one I used this week for the 2 Things Challenge, Ghost/Image. Lovely sky.
Great image! Thank you for all the info.
Looks like a London sky
Arabesque: I thought the same thing, which is why I was finally persuaded to go with this photo.
Jilly: Thank you. Though I liked yours far, far better.
Larry: I just saw that. Very cool!
Luis: You're welcome.
Mo: Hm. I was afraid of that. I should have noted that the building in silhouette in the background is the ILO (International Labor Organization), which is HQ'ed in Geneva. ;-)
Great Theme Day post. Mine is up on November 1 at Portland Oregon Daily Photo; it’s a photo that I took on the Portland, Oregon, MAX Light Rail last Saturday.
I love this shot for the theme! I've been to three of the four airports (all but he cargo one).
