Salsa!
I enjoy cooking and trying different combinations of foods. This is a photo of some pineapple-kiwi salsa I made recently for a party. It was also the first time I hollowed out a pineapple to be the dish for the salsa.

Salsa!
Doing the mambo step : Barrio Latino : Plainpalais, Geneva, CH
So, in an ongoing effort to try new things, I'm taking dance classes and learning how to salsa. The class is a melange of folks from Africa, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Pakistan, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, and the United States. In other words, a veritable U.N. of salsa-dancing-wanna-be's! The guy who teaches the class, Raf, is of Swiss-Portugese descent. His native language is French (I think), but he teaches the class in English with a smattering of Spanish thrown in. It's been a lot of fun, so far. Quite often, I have two left feet, which is unfortunate for the leads. Bottom line, though: I'm having fun!
