2TC: Coffee/Tea

I always opt for the Herzkirsche--or any other tea, for that matter : Ferney-Voltaire, FR

It's been a long while since I participated in 2 Things Challenge, but as it's a new year, I thought I'd give it a go again. This week's challenge was Coffee/Tea. I wanted to mess around with my macro lens, so I set up a cup of tea and set my box of Teekanne Herzkirsche and Maya's bag of Starbuck's Christmas blend on the counter top and shot away.

Next week's 2 Things Challenge is Paint/Corner. Feel free to join in the fun!

100 Strangers: The Coffee Lady

Nicola Bishop-Shaw, the Ferney/Divonne Market Coffee Lady : Ferney-Voltaire, FR

This is Nicola Bishop-Shaw, the Coffee Lady. She runs a coffee and tea business called Le Moulin à Café. On Saturdays, you can find her selling Fair Trade coffees and teas at the market in Ferney-Voltaire. On Sundays, she's in Divonne Les Bains. Nicola hails from the U.K., but has made her home in France for the last 15 years or so. If you shop at the markets in Ferney or Divonne, be sure to stop and visit her booth. She'll give you a cheery hello and can brief you on all things coffee and tea!

Seens in a Paris Café

Tables and chairs : La Rotonda : Paris, FR

This past weekend was spent in Paris, the City of Lights. Each morning, we had breakfast at one of the cafes on the Montparnasse. These are "seens" in a Paris café.

French Breakfast : Bread, croissant, tea, orange juice. Oh, and a bee on my bread...

Italian People Watching

Generations

One of the things I enjoyed about Aosta were all the people. These are just a few pictures of some of the hundreds of people I saw and photographed this past weekend.

Les amies

Deux amies

Dr Lala and I stepped into a bakery near the market to buy bread. I snapped this photo of two friends enjoying each others company over a cup of morning coffee.

Can you hear me now?
